If you're both okay with it, then that's perfect. Do you wear your ring all the time? For me, I personally wouldn't wear a ring if my husband didn't wear one as well because that hearkens back to the old days when a wife was more like property and wore a ring so that people would know she already 'belonged' to a man. It's either both or no one in my house. Right now I can't even wear my rings because I'm pregnant and my fingers are too swollen (sigh) which makes me feel naked now that I'm used to having them on all the time! The ring is just a symbol. Secondly...some people don't like jewelry. It can be very annoying. And last...some people can't wear rings when they work. My husband doesn't wear his ring (ever) and it doesn't bother me. Part of being married is trust. it doesn't matter if he wares a ring or not...we trust, and love each other.
